Define new or unfamiliar terms
- If the term already exists, link to a good existing explanation.
- If your document is introducing the term, define the term.
- Collect the definitions into a glossary if your document introduces many terms.
Use terms consistently
Use acronyms(縮寫) properly
- If you defined a short term, use a shortened version of that name.
- Don’t define acronyms that would only be used a few times.
Use the acronym or the full term?
- The acronym is significantly shorter than the full term.
- The acronym appears many times in the document.
Disambiguate pronouns
- Replace this or that with the appropriate noun.
